This movie is an older one but we recently rewatched it. Two Irish hired killers, after a botched assassination, are told to hide out in the quaint town of Bruges in Belgium until the scandal blows over.
One of the killers can't stand how boring the community is. The other enjoys the ancient architecture. But as they tour the town and get involved with a film production, new details about the killing are revealed, and their boss is on the way.
Beautiful movie setting, and the writer/director pens such original dialog. Warning, it is a little violent, especially at the end, but it does have some interesting takes on honor among criminals. The three leads are amazing.
