Just saw this movie today in theater. It is about the film industry and the transition from silent movies to talkies. Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie are the two leads. Silent film stars who were unable to achieve the same success when silent movies went away.
Warning, the movie is long, over three hours! And it starts out with a giant party that turns into a orgy at a producer's home. Strange to think Americans in the 20's were whacked out on drugs, sex, and booze. Just like modern Hollywood.
The man who made this movie also made La La Land and the cinematography is amazing! Not all of the film works but certain scenes are both magical and extraordinary.
