Series on Netflix about the start of the FBI investigating serial killers. The series starts in the 70's. A brilliant but eccentric new FBI agent decides to start interviewing famous serial killers in prison. He partners up with a fellow agent who goes around the country and teaches local police FBI methods.
Fascinating to see the interviews behind bars with men like the Boston Strangler and Charlie Manson.
They eventually use those techniques to capture other serial killers.
The second season is set mainly in Atlanta with the agents trying to find who is killing African-American teens.
Many of the episodes are directed by David Fincher who is quite brilliant setting up scenes. Great fun to see a master at work.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
