Beautiful but violent story of an American sergeant who is saved by his Afghani translator. The US military had a program where Afghani interpreters could get American citizenship after helping out US troops. This man went above and beyond rescuing the main character from certain death. The American went all out to save the man who saved him, dealing with Army bureaucracy, the Taliban, and drug dealers to save the man and his family.
Maybe a bit too long, but done really well. I give it four out of five Spectres.
