Died from cancer this week. He was remembered as a documentarian for his work including "Fast Food Nation" where he went from being a vegetarian to eating McDonald's super size meals for a whole month. His works probably did a lot of good warning people to not excessively overeat, but he also played fast and loose with the facts. Example? He would imply his throwing up in the movie was from the food, but it might have been more due to his excessive drinking and going from a vegetarian to a diet with a lot of meat.
He also appears to have #metoo issues starting in college and continuing throughout his career.
If the intent was good, can we accept the falsehoods in his work?
