Paul Thomas Anderson's film about radicals in America fighting an oppressive, anti-immigrant ICE style force.
Leonardo Dicaprio's character joins a left wing organization like the Weather Underground who rob banks to finance raids to free illegal immigrants from holding facilities. He falls in love with a woman who also has another relationship with one of the leaders of ICE.
She has a baby with Leo, but then abandons the child and flees the country after their organization is compromised.
The film has some interesting ideas and makes you think about why some people fight and others just go along.
I give it four our of five of rebel tracking devices.
