I was a little young when the original was on, but I loved every minute I could get - strong smart female leads are great for girls both young and old. I hope they do right by this show.

Deadline Hollywood says Minka Kelly (“Friday Night Lights,” “Parenthood”) and Rachael Taylor (“Transformers”) are close to joining Annie Ilonzeh (“General Hospital,” “Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief”) as the title characters in ABC’s new “Charlie’s Angels” pilot.

Robert Wagner (“Hart To Hart”) takes over for John Forsythe as the new voice of Charlie.

Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (“Smallville,” “Shanghai Noon,” “Herbie Fully Loaded,” “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor”) scripted the new pilot.
