The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two teenagers suspected of causing thousands of dollars in damage to a school in South Jeffco.

When the first deputy arrived, he saw two teenage boys between the ages of 13 and 15. One of them was wearing a black T-shirt, black pants and black prescription glasses, and had black hair. The other boy was wearing a green T-shirt and blue pants, and had blond hair. Both were carrying silver pipes about 6 feet in length.

More than 20 classroom windows and several glass doors were shattered, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release. The damage is estimated to be over $10,000.

Anyone with information regarding the burglary is asked to call the sheriff's tip line at 303-271-5612, or Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).
