Attempted kidnapping reported near Kipling and Belleview, sketch of suspect

A man reportedly attempted to abduct a young girl Monday evening outside her home near South Kipling Street and West Belleview Avenue.

Techmeyer described the suspect as a white male 25 to 30 years of age with tanned skin, about 6 feet tall, thin to medium build, with tattoos on both arms. One tattoo on the left arm near or above the elbow is of a red skull. He was wearing a green baseball cap with white letters, red shirt, torn blue jeans and black shoes. He was driving a newer bright red four-door sedan.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the sheriff’s tip line at 303-271-5612 or Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
