The Jeffco Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a parking ticket scam.
Last week a woman tried to pay the fine for a fake parking ticket at the Jefferson County courthouse. The ticket cited a violation of “inconsiderate parking for others” with a fine of $401.08. The “violation” was "issued" Aug. 30 in the 11000 block of West Sixth Avenue.
