Funds sought for repairs to Columbine Memorial

The Columbine Memorial Foundation is raising funds to help repair parts of the memorial at Clement Park.

Though fund-raising efforts are ongoing, replacement of the buckling concrete on the inner part of the circle at the memorial entrance is the top priority of Columbine Memorial Foundation president Alan Cram.

“We are trying to get an endowment set up to care for the facility long term,” he said. “(But) my view is a little shorter term. We’ve got an issue that we’re trying to get resolved.”
