In the race up to Election Day, Jeffco Public Schools is facing some detractors regarding its proposed bond issue and mill levy — largely tied to apprehension over the total payback amount for the $535 million bond package; plans to move sixth-graders to middle schools; and a facilities plan that some parents believe was not well thought out.
