Cellie Dach knew she wanted to honor area veterans, but she just wasn’t sure how to do it or when.

“I’m very patriotic,” Dach said. “I had brothers in the Navy, and I feel that without our veterans, this country would be nothing.”

Dach serves as president of the Light of the World Roman Catholic Church seniors’ organization. Membership is open to anyone in the area age 55 and older.
