An accident involving a motorcycle shut down part of northbound U.S. Highway 285 early Wednesday afternoon.
The motorcyclist, who has not been identified, was transported to Swedish Medical Center, Trooper Nate Reid of Colorado State Patrol confirmed. The motorcyclist's exact condition was unknown as of 1:30 p.m., and the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
