Biz Beat: New pinball arcade provides family fun in Conifer

After decades of collecting pinball machines, the McCarthys of Conifer have made good on their longtime goal to open an arcade.

Blizzard Mountain Pinball, 25797 Conifer Road, Suite #C-206, hosted its grand opening this weekend, with several local families and professional pinball players attending.

Kevin and Laura McCarthy and their two children have always enjoyed playing pinball together as a family, and wanted to open up a family friendly arcade in Conifer.

Customers can pre-load game cards by dollar amount or by length of time. The arcade also features birthday packages, where the guests have unlimited game play for two hours. The arcade has 35 pinball machines and one arcade-style video game, with more on the way, Laura said, adding that it’s a perfect activity for families to do together.
