Glass given ‘high’ rating by Jeffco school board

Jeffco Public Schools Superintendent Jason Glass has received high marks in his first performance evaluation by the Jeffco school board since being hired last July.

According to documents acquired by the Courier through a Colorado Open Records Act request, Glass was evaluated last October on a five-point scale for seven performance standards, including leadership and vision; continuous improvement; communication and collaboration; policies and governance; instruction; resource management; and ethics. Across all categories, Glass’ performance was rated as professional, high performing or exceptional. The other rating possibilities were “unacceptable” and “needs improvement.”
