Survey shows ‘tight race’ in EPRD’s possible bond issue

Support for a proposal to put up to a $34 million bond to Evergreen Park & Recreation District voters in November has about a 50/50 chance of passing, according to results of a survey sent to residents in the district.

In addition, of the priorities given on the survey, overall, respondents chose trails as their highest priority, followed by aquatics facilities, Buchanan Recreation Center improvements, land purchase and Wulf Recreation Center improvements.

There was a big gap between those five and ADA improvements and pickleball.
