Bailey Day overtakes Main Street with vendors, attendees

With Bailey Day well underway on Saturday, the asphalt of Bailey’s Main Street was almost invisible through the crowd.

Thousands flocked to the community to enjoy the annual festival. With more than 120 vendors and a list of unique Old West-style activities, there were plenty of things to catch the eye and engage with.

[Platte Canyon Chamber President Brian] O’Reilly and many of Bailey Day’s workers were decked out in Old Western garb. He said the Western flair is part of what makes the town appealing, and they wanted to capitalize on the unique aesthetic for the festival to enhance the experience.
