Idaho Springs officials want input from the public on the future name of the Virginia Canyon Open Space trails park — and other aspects of the park that they hope to begin constructing in 2019.
“This is an opportunity for the community to actually to decide what they want to call the park,” city planner Alan Tiefenbach said. "We don’t have a name for the park yet — now we’ve been calling it Virginia Canyon Open Space but that’s really not the formal name yet.”
