Enthusiasts near and far partake in Evergreen Garden Club's garden tour

More than 400 garden enthusiasts traversed Evergreen on Saturday to meander through six residential gardens in their summer blooming glory.

The Evergreen High Altitude Garden Tour — organized by the Evergreen Garden Club every two years — shows the most colorful, unique and spectacular gardens in the area.

The tour is a fundraiser for the club, which uses the money to maintain public gardens throughout Evergreen.

Those who toured the gardens weren’t just locals; some came longer distances.
