For Conifer man, NHRA and family go hand in hand

MORRISON — Brothers Scott Walz and Greg Christensen can’t get enough of drag racing.

The self-described adrenaline junkies began racing in the early 2000s and have since gone through a multitude of cars just to get to this point n their careers.

At the Dodge Mile-High National Hot Rod Association Nationals at Bandimere Speedway last weekend, Walz of Conifer made it to the fourth round of the super comp, and Christensen of Strasburg made it to the second round of top dragster.
