Aug. 12 was a big day for Marshdale resident Reggie Dickhoff: Not only did he turn 24, but he moved into his dorm room at Rutgers University, where he will begin law school.

Reggie, a 2012 Conifer High School graduate, still doesn’t know what area of law he’d like to practice, and he’s open to anything.

The young man has learned many life lessons at his young age: Public policy is interesting, and one day he might run for elected office; exercise and health are crucial; it’s important to help others; and people should never let anything hold them back.

Reggie, who has autism spectrum disorder, is meticulous and driven, and he is open about overcoming the issues associated with the disorder. Despite any adversity, he IS going to Rutgers, one of the top law schools in the country.
