Inter-Canyon Fire board president Leslie Caimi resigned in August due to a move to Montrose, and resident Mike Swenson was appointed to replace her during the fire protection district’s Sept. 12 meeting.
Moreover, the board elected new officers since Caimi had been serving as president. Karl Firor will continue as treasurer; Volkman will take over as the board’s president; and Swenson will replace her as secretary. Firor, Volkman and Swenson will be the three signers for Inter-Canyon’s bank accounts.
