West Jefferson Elementary and Middle schools, as well as Conifer High School, have lifted lockouts that were in place while the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office searched for an individual with mental health issues.
According to Jenny Fulton, spokeswoman with Jeffco, the Sheriff's Office was looking for an individual who threatened suicide. He was unarmed but had threatened self harm, Fulton said.
However, Fulton said it didn't appear the individual had been found.
