Scores of people filled bags, boxes and containers with cookies of all shapes and sizes on Saturday during the 15th annual Cookie Walk.
The event at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church allows church bakers to show off their wares, while those who prefer not to bake for the holidays can purchase every kind of cookie imaginable.
Roughly 15,000 cookies were for sale — and organizers hoped the cookie supply would last beyond noon. “Last year, we ran out by noon,” said volunteer Jennifer Wolff, who greeted cookie buyers at the door, “so we put out a call for even more cookies this year.”
