Morrison Police vehicle totaled in early morning accident

Icy roads caused an early morning accident that totaled a Morrison Police Department vehicle.

According to a press release, an unidentified Morrison officer was on westbound C-470 near Morrison Road helping a driver involved in a one-car accident due to icy road conditions at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday.

While walking from the marked Ford Explorer to the driver’s car, a silver pickup truck lost control and struck the Morrison police vehicle from behind.
