Argo’s gondola could open this summer

The Argo Mine and Mill is hoping to have its gondola open in the next eight to 14 months, giving locals an opportunity to see Idaho Springs from a new view.

Mary Jane Loevlie, one of the Argo’s owners, told City Council members and staff that the company is planning to have its zoning application completed this spring, and its master planning and schematic design is already underway.

Cool idea! I hope they are successful with this project. The wife and I used to spend a lot of time in that town and would love to see if from a new view.
