After working out details for air-quality monitoring during construction and periodically afterward, the Clear Creek Board of County Commissioners unanimously approved the Colorado Department’s 1041 permit for the westbound peak-period shoulder lane.
During a Jan. 22 hearing for the permit, which allows local governments to place some regulations on state projects, county staff proposed at least 10 conditions as part of the permit’s approval. CDOT agreed to most of the conditions without issue.
