Dozier, Roescher running for D2 seat in IREA election

Two candidates are vying for the District 2 spot on the Intermountain Rural Electric Association board of directors.

District 2, which stretches from southern Castle Rock to Conifer, Bailey, Pine and parts of Evergreen, is currently represented by Bailey resident James “Duke” Dozier. Dozier is running for re-election, though the spot is contested by Steve Roescher of Castle Rock.

Intermountain Rural Electric Association, also known as IREA, is a nonprofit electric distribution cooperative.
