Work continues on a 54-unit affordable housing complex in El Rancho.
The development, which drew mixed reactions from the Evergreen community, is owned by the Jefferson County Housing Authority. It was initially expected to be completed by June, but JCHA executive director Lori Rosendahl said that’s now been pushed to early 2020.
When complete, the development, called Vista El Rancho, will have two-story one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom units on a four-acre plot at 1055 El Rancho Road across from Evergreen Country Day School.
Rent will range from $1,012 for a one-bedroom apartment to $1,408 for a three-bedroom apartment. Maximum salary for one person living in the complex is $37,800, $43,200 for two people, $48,600 for three people and $53,940 for four people.
