The sentencing hearing was postponed a third time for the second suspect accused of beating and imprisoning a 21-year-old man in Conifer in September 2017.

Wynn Ray Sichting, the co-defendant in the case, was sentencing to 10 months in jail and four years of probation after he pleaded guilty in August to one felony count of second-degree assault, one felony count of second-degree kidnapping and one misdemeanor count of theft. Sichting, of Conifer, is accused of trying to kill his nephew, Adonis Cherokee Gomez, on Sept. 11, 2017, after Gomez attempted to retrieve belongings he’d left behind after moving out of Sichting’s home in the 27000 block of Parsons Road a week before.
