Conifer baseball poised for postseason run with recent win

CONIFER — When it comes to the Colorado 4A baseball playoff standings, Conifer is sitting pretty as the regular season winds down. On Saturday on their home field, the Lobos boosted their resume with a 5-4 walk-off thriller over visiting Woodland Park.


After that victory — their sixth straight — the Lobos moved up to No. 22 in the CHSAANow.com ratings percentage index (RPI) poll. The top 32 teams make it into the postseason.
