Application for Saxon Mountain residential development withdrawn
Application for Saxon Mountain residential development withdrawn was created by ClearCreekCourant
A proposed residential development on Saxon Mountain east of Georgetown is no longer on the table because of concerns about whether Georgetown is allowed to sell the land for private purposes.
The Georgetown Board of Selectmen on April 30 terminated its contract with Kent Sterett of the Capital Prize Mine to submit the subdivision application, which included Sterett’s mining claims and Georgetown-owned land that Sterett planned to purchase.
