The early morning cold and rainy weather Saturday couldn’t dampen the deals and community spirit on Floyd Hill.
The clouds parted in time for dozens of people to stop by the Clear Creek High School/Middle School parking lot, as locals and visitors alike looked for bargains at the annual Floyd Hill Area Flea Market.
Jim Cotsworth, president of the Floyd Hill Area Property Owners Association, likewise felt that these summertime events are great opportunities for people to see and meet their neighbors.
