West Jeff assistant principal promoted after principal resigns

Longtime West Jeff Middle School assistant principal Kim Halingstad will serve as interim principal next year after the current principal announced his resignation earlier this month.

David Schoenhals, who was hired in July 2018, announced several weeks ago that he plans to return to Aurora Public Schools, where he spent 29 years working as a math teacher, math instructional coach, math instructional coordinator and principal of a K-8 school.
