Elevation Celebration draws a crowd for music, community fun

Before the rain fell and a stunning rainbow made an appearance, the sun beamed down on the Elevation Celebration and community members danced through the streets.


The two-day festival on Saturday and Sunday, now in its seventh year, is a fun way to bring the community and local businesses together.

“It’s fantastic for the community,” said Melanie Swearengin, executive director of the Conifer Area Chamber of Commerce. “Just bringing out different businesses and the community and really getting the community to meet the businesses.

In addition to countless community business vendors, the summer street fair, hosted by the Conifer Chamber, features an early morning 5K/10K run, live music, food, games, craft-beer tents and more.
