Former Sheriff's Office employee arrested

A former civilian employee with the Clear Creek Sheriff's Office has been arrested on suspicion of introducing contraband to the jail.


Tyler Leif, 23, was arrested Wednesday morning and later advised of his rights and charges in his first court appearance. Leif allegedly attempted to introduce tobacco into the jail, which is a felony, the CCSO confirmed.
