Clear Creek School District employees soon may be allowed to volunteer to administer medical marijuana to students while they’re at school.
The school board unanimously approved at its Sept. 17 meeting the first reading of the change to its medical marijuana policy. The policy will return to the board at its October meeting for a final vote.
However, the medical marijuana cannot be stored on school grounds overnight nor can district employees take it home, unless they are the parent or guardian of the student in question.
