Idaho Springs forms parking task force

After receiving mostly positive feedback on the managed parking program, the Idaho Springs City Council is forming a parking task force of approximately seven interested residents and business owners, along with city officials.

Letters of interest were due Tuesday, and City Council members will consider them during their Oct. 7 work session, according to staff. After formal appointments are made at the council’s Oct. 14 regular meeting, the task force will meet weekly to evaluate the downtown parking situation and bring recommendations to the city.
