Homecoming parade shows school spirit, team pride

The annual Clear Creek High School homecoming parade on Friday afternoon didn’t disappoint.


Floats, sports teams, the marching band, cheerleaders, a group from the alumni association and more took to Miner Street in Idaho Springs to culminate a week of activities at the school — all in preparation for the homecoming football game that night. This year’s parade was much longer than parades in the recent past, as county organizations, a Clear Creek Middle School float and first responders joined in on the fun.
