New bakery owner has a history in the kitchen
Tina McCullough grew up in a kitchen, so it only makes sense that she found her way back in her retirement.

McCullough is the owner of Ernie’s Mountain Bakery & Cafe, a new business that opened two weeks ago in Kings Valley. Here, she plans to serve up a little bit of everything — cookies, sandwiches and soup, take-and-bake pot pies, cinnamon rolls and more.

Petite Maison Café specializes in strong coffee, espresso drinks
If you enjoy strong coffee and espresso drinks, give Petite Maison Café in Kittredge a try.

The tiny-house-turned-restaurant provides drinks, teas and smoothies, and pastries from Vivian’s Gourmet. It’s both a drive-thru and walk-up — and it is located at the back of the Adobe Creek Center on Highway 74. It’s kid-, dog- and bike friendly.

Adams Natural Meats offers grass-fed bison
Evergreen has a source for grass-fed bison and beef in its midst: Adams Natural Meats.

The business provides wholesale meats, with a retail store at its location at at 33850 Highway 40.
