EVERGREEN — One by one, be it head coach Larry Fitzmaurice or his players, they all said it was just another game. Yet, in reality, it was more than that for the Conifer Lobos.
One could especially tell so when player after player no matter how bitterly cold it was grasped the Mountain Bowl trophy on Friday night at Evergreen High School. There was no way these players — all of them — weren’t going to get their moment with this memento.
