Floyd Hill park increasing in popularity

With 1,300 trail-users a week, Floyd Hill Open Space Park is now the most popular trailhead Clear Creek County monitors.


Previously, the county saw the most visitors at the Stevens Gulch Trailhead, which leads to Grays and Torreys peaks. But, with the weather changing and with the Sluice — the new downhill bike-only trail — open at Floyd Hill, it has seen more traffic, Trails Supervisor James Kovaly said.
