Sculptors meet at Tom Ware’s studio weekly for creative camaraderie

To loosely paraphrase Michelangelo, sculptors in the Warehouse Gang see the model in the clay, and they work each week to set her free.

Every Thursday for 42 years, Evergreen artist Tom Ware has opened his home studio near Evergreen Lake to a group of sculptors who have dubbed themselves the Warehouse Gang. The sculptors of all ages and artistic experience are serious about their work, and Ware’s studio is a place they call home.
