The suspect who barricaded himself in his home following a domestic disturbance Saturday has been released from the hospital and booked into the Jefferson County jail, where he is facing numerous charges.


Richard Brown, 40, sustained a self-inflicted gunshot wound after a four-hour standoff with law enforcement outside his home in the 33000 block of Harmon Road in Pine.

Pine suspect fails to show up for arraignment

The man who barricaded himself in his Pine home following a domestic disturbance in November failed to appear for a Monday morning arraignment, according to Pam Russell, spokeswoman with the Jefferson County District Attorney’s office.

In addition to Brown’s failure to appear on Monday, Russell said a warrant was issued in January when Brown violated a condition of his bond.
