USFS plans to reroute Warren Gulch Trail to reduce user conflicts

The U.S. Forest Service is asking for public comments on a proposal to reroute Warren Gulch Trail to reduce user conflicts. The rerouted trail would be opened by the fall of 2020.


The 4.3-mile trail, which starts near Echo Mountain on Highway 103, closed earlier this year because of safety concerns and private landowner conflicts. The safety issues couldn’t be resolved because of easement issues, and the U.S. Forest Service started looking at rerouting the trail.
