It appears Evergreen will get a two-tiered trail on the north side of Evergreen Lake.
Evergreen Park & Recreation District has gotten the last construction grant it needs to build the permanent trail, replacing the trail that failed in 2016 and got a temporary fix, reopening 16 months later.
“We are elated,” EPRD Executive Director Ellen O’Connor said. “Now we will have a beautiful, safe trail for years to come.”
