Evergreen High lead campus supervisor Dufford retiring after 20 years of keeping

On Friday, Evergreen High School’s lead campus supervisor Tammy Dufford will end her day as she has many times in the past 20 years — making sure the school is secure after a boys basketball game — but it will be for the last time.


Dufford, who heads the security team at EHS, is retiring, saying goodbye to students and staff, and staff members say she will leave a gaping hole at EHS that will not easily be filled.

“There are not enough superlatives for someone like her,” said English teacher Colin Booth. “She is one of the few consummate educational professionals I have had the pleasure of working with.”
