One person will run against Idaho Springs Mayor Mike Hillman in the April 7 recall election.
Mike Kowalewski submitted his nomination petition Friday afternoon, and City Clerk Diane Breece verified the required 25 signatures on Monday and deemed it sufficient. No one else submitted a nomination petition, which was due by 5 p.m. Monday.
