Even if those at The Alpine Restaurant & Bar on Friday night didn’t know how to spell it, “simultaneously” was the word that defined their event.
More than 20 people competed in the library district’s Sip & Spell event in Georgetown, with kids forming two-person teams to write their words while adults spelled theirs verbally.
